  Jacques Bermon Webster, II (born April 30 1991), often referred to as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) is an American rapper from America. He's also a singer, songwriter as well as a record producer and songwriter. His stage name is that of his beloved uncle, and also the initial name given to Kid Cudi, his inspiration (whose real name was Scott Mescudi). In 2012, Scott signed his first major label deal with Epic Records. He also signed a publishing deal for GOOD Music with Kanye West. He signed a joint recording contract with Epic Records and T.I. in April 2013. 's Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first project that was full-length the mixtape Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in 2013. The project was followed by another mixtape, Days Before Rodeo, in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was the debut studio album. The hit single "Antidote" was the main track. The album that followed, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first Billboard 200 number one album. In the following year, Scott released a collaborative album with Quavo titled Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho under the band name Huncho Jack.In 2018 the third album, Astroworld, was released to critical acclaim and produced the debut Billboard Hot 100 number one single, "Sicko Mode" (featuring Drake). Scott's Cactus Jack Records release the compilation album JackBoys in the latter part of 2019. The album was a top contender for the Billboard 200. Following the release of his single "Franchise" (featuring Young Thug and M.I.A.) Scott became the first Hot 100 artist to have three songs hit the top spot in less than a decade in 2020.
